N'oubliez pas d'apporter de l'eau pour votre ami à 4 pattes, la fontaine ne sera peut-être pas encore installée ainsi que des sacs pour ses besoins; il est de notre responsabilité de prévoir nos sacs, n'attendez pas que la ville les fournisses!
Lets Celebrate a new and improved Dog Park. Contests, laughs and a dog walk. Please invite all! Bring your own water because the water fountain may not have arrived yet. Lets stand up and call 311 they promised us the expanded park for the Spring then told me the city would start in May .Now they are aying they will start in July or August. Please call and complain. We will do a walk to 44th and come back. The Church on 44th will be having there Blessings that day! Father Jeff blesses the dog and they have a rummage sale going on where you can bring the pooch. Bring your own lunch and goodies for the dogs and BAGS(the city has not filled those up) for pick up. Lets have games and fun times can't wait to see you all. Please invite the world. I will have decals for save our pet for your home as a donation to keep this site up and running.

We have permission to go to Du Rail but we will have a picnic around 10th Ave. Bring your picnic, bring water for your pooch, bring cameras and if you want bring money for the decal for your home. Nous avons la permission d'aller à du Rail, mais nous poursuivrons jusqu'au kiosque
d'information touristique. Apportez votre repas, de l'eau pour votre animal, une caméra et
des sous pour votre autocollant domiciliaire. Les sous ainsi ramassés aideront à défrayer les
coûts associés au démarrage de l'association des droits canins de Lachine et les frais
d'impression de ses documents.
Soyons-y en grand nombre
Comme nous n'avons mot à dire sur les endroits prévus pour la promenade de
nos amis canins, démontrons que nous sommes des propriétaires responsables
et amusons-nous tous.

Drum roll please?. The 2008 Animatch Walk-a-Thon is upon us! Now is the time to start gathering pledges for this key annual fundraiser. The walk will take place on May 17 at Centennial Park in DDO. It will be a fun-filled day for two and four legged friends of Animatch with breakfast, lunch, contests, booths and of course, your choice of a 3 or 6 km walk! Go to the Animatch web site to download your pledge form. Hope to see you there!
FUND RAISING TIPS
Set a Personal Goal
Just consider what you would like to do: $120 pays for an average dog sterilization, $50 will cover the cost of a good quality bag of food for a month for a medium sized dog, $50 pays for a vet exam & basic vaccinations. $30 pays for de-worming & flea prevention. There is no minimum or maximum required. Be ambitious-ask your family, friends, and especially your local stores to help you achieve your goal in supporting this great cause.
Email everyone you know.
Quicker than a phone call and more far-reaching. Include a picture of yourself and your pooch or add a link to the Animatch website (www.animatch.ca) so everyone can see what you are fundraising for.
One a day
Ask one person each day to make a contribution. If you get four $25 gifts, you will have $100 in less than a week! Don?t be afraid to ask for larger gifts-most people are happy to donate to a good cause.
Tax Advantages
Remind people that donations of $20 or more will qualify them for a tax receipt.
